Well, crap

I figured I'd check the Everywhere Magazine website before I went to bed to see if there was any way to tell if one of my article submissions or pictures had made it into the next issue. That's when I found this:

(via Everywhere's Blog)
"To the Everywhere Community,

Launching a travel magazine was always an ambitious undertaking, but 8020 Publishing is committed to the idea of creating beautiful publications that combine the vitality of the Web with the richness of print. You made it possible for us to produce four terrific issues of Everywhere, but sadly we must now suspend publication of the magazine."
It's a shame because I really liked Everywhere Magazine and, even if I didn't get published in it this time, I was looking forward to trying again for the next issue. That magazine not only inspired and motivated me but also gave me my two biggest ego boosts as an aspiring author thus far. I'm sad to see it go.

Special thanks to all of the people who worked there.

As for my submissions, there's still a chance they may show up in the final issue but I haven't heard anything yet.

Ah, well.
